Cromwells Bridge ( Landscape )
This bridge on the River Hodder is known locally as Cromwells Bridge as he was said to have used it on his way to the Battle of Preston during the English Civil War.
The river was also a county boundry,
Lancashire on the left and Yorkshire to the right.
