My Professional career started as a Press / Football League Photographer which would include Press Conferences, Crown Courts, PR Assignments and Football League matches throughout the UK while also maintaining my passion for Landscape Photography.
This lead to my images being used in the National Press and my Landscape Images being used in Public Buildings, Office Reception Areas, Restaurants, Hotels & Pubs as well as supplying images for website use for Local authorities and Private Companies.
Over the years having photographed many North West Weddings with assistance from my wife Jenny, we decided to open a full time studio in Leyland from where we could personally meet Brides & Grooms to discuss their requirements for their big day and also for them to see examples of my wedding photography.
Our style of wedding photography is a mixture of Candid, Formal & Traditional which is best described as making a " Wedding Story " of their day.
The studio also enabled me to offer Portrait and Product Photography, Photo Repairs / Enlargements and Canvas Prints plus Passport & Visa Photos.
Having a workshop enabled me to produce my own photographic products on our own Large Format Printers without having to rely on third party Labs. This enabled me to keep costs down for my customers and to ensure the products produced where to the highest quality.
Producing prints to a very high standard can be a tricky business so I decided to apply for a distinction with The Royal Royal Photographic Society mainly to ensure I was producing my products to a high standard.
Everything was going well and then the pandemic arrived and we all went into lockdown. When we were allowed back with all the restrictions in place we decided not to renew the lease and instead converted part of our home as a studio.
All of our services are still available apart from Passport and Visa Photos which was a walk in service.
